Stylist to the stars Trevor Sorbie has spoken to the Daily Telegraph's fashion magazine about a hair loss charity he has established. The award-winning hairdresser - the man behind the crowning glories on many red carpets - said he has been concentrating over the last five years on cutting wigs.
His organisation My New Hair creates stylish prosthetics for women whose tresses have fallen out due to medical problems, including cancer patients who have gone bald during chemotherapy.
Mr Sorbie said he wants to take the charity all over the world and has so far trained around 400 professionals to cut wigs.
Women with female hair loss may also be interested to know the stylist believes the condition of tresses is as important as the way they are worn.
"There is nothing more beautiful to look at than glossy, healthy-looking hair," he stated.
Alberto Guzman, another famous stylist, recently told MyFDB.com hair loss treatment Viviscal can be used to improve the condition of locks, noting that many models have mentioned it to him.
