Vitamins and minerals 'improve hair loss'
Published: 29th of September 2010
Vitamins and herbs may help to improve the appearance of a scalp following a period of hair loss. This is according to a piece published on Lon's Article Directory, which noted that improper nutrition is a one-way ticket to thinning strands.
Pointing out that inadequate healthy eating forces the circulatory system to work harder, meaning follicles are less likely to be entirely nourished, the news source suggested increasing intake of vitamins and minerals.
Although deficiencies in these areas are unlikely to cause hair loss by themselves, ensuring the proper targets for them are being met means that locks are more likely to be better in a better condition.
The piece recommended using vitamin E to help nourish dry strands, while balancing the correct level of vitamins B and A is also important.
Secondly, it advised people to consider drinking green tea, as this could also improve the situation.
Meanwhile, an article recently published by the same website claimed avoiding the three whites - refined sugar, salt and white flour - can help.
