Hair loss fight 'starts from the inside out'
Published: 28th of September 2010
Tackling hair loss starts from the inside out - so those struggling with the condition should turn their attention to their diets. This is according to a piece published on website Lon's Article Directory.
It points out that while consuming plenty of fresh produce and the requisite five-a-day in the form of fruit and vegetables is always beneficial, while iron tablets can help make up any imbalance that could potentially lead to thinning locks, other changes also need to be made.
People worried about the state of their tresses should also steer clear of certain foods and treats which can be considered unhealthy.
These include caffeinated beverages, such as fizzy drinks and coffee, and items with "the three whites" - salt, refined sugar and white flour.
However, while these tips may be helpful in some cases, an article on Boston.com recently reported that genetics and stress are the biggest contributors to female hair loss.
