A healthy lifestyle 'will help reduce hair loss'
Published: 21st of September 2010
People concerned about hair loss might find it helpful to ensure that the locks on their head are in the best possible condition.According to a piece by Sue Richardson, keeping tresses in good nick through leading a healthy lifestyle is an excellent way of preventing further hair loss.
She advised readers to eat well and regularly, as crash diets are known to thin strands out.
This suggestion echoes that from an article on Helium, which recommended good nutrition as an easy and essential way to avoiding hair loss.
What's more, Ms Richardson observed that plenty of sleep is a necessity when it comes to allowing the body to recharge and regenerate itself - right down to the follicles.
And there is extra incentive for worried people to calm down about the state of their barnet, she continued.
"Emotional conditions such as depression and anxiety can cause hair to fall and in some cases, can cause sufferers to pull out their own hair during bouts of anxiety," the expert asserted.
