Hair loss clinics 'offer hope'
Published: 16th of September 2010
Visiting a hair loss clinic could be beneficial to any man suffering from unexplained thinning locks, according to one publication.Joe - an Irish magazine for men - investigated one such facility to see what sort of help it offered.
Reporter Robert Carry visited the Ailesbury Clinic in Dublin and experienced a service which included a consultation regarding his fears and concerns over possibly balding.
Following this, a specialist performed an examination of his scalp to give Mr Carry a prognosis of what he could expect in the near future.
He was then talked through several possible procedures, one of which is getting treatment through medication.
However, a natural approach may also be beneficial. For example, people experiencing hair loss might find a product such as Viviscal - recently recommended by the Daily Mail - helpful.
"With so many options on the table and clinics close at hand, it's a real shame that so many men opt to grin and bear it," Mr Carry noted, adding that worrying about the issue does not help - but treatment can.
