Aloe vera treatment 'could help hair'
Published: 2nd of September 2010
People concerned about possible hair loss may like to invest in shampoos that feature aloe vera, as one publication has said that many products contain the vegetation as it adds strength, shine and flexibility to locks.Hellomagazine.com described it as a "wonder plant", noting that it can help revitalise tresses, although it is also beneficial to use it on the skin.
The extract can be used to soothe burnt or irritated skin, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties, which implies that it may be beneficial for anyone with thinning hair.
"Studies … suggest its medicinal properties make it effective against intestinal problems and inflammation of the eyes," it was further observed.
However, people could consider taking other courses of action to help safeguard against hair loss, such as massaging heads regularly with warm oils so as to keep scalps tight and prevent dandruff, as recently recommended by Tom Wilt News.
