Gail Porter says love reversed hair loss

Female hair loss sufferer Gail Porter has revealed that happiness with her new boyfriend may have been what incited her locks to grow back.Speaking to the Mirror, the TV presenter - who suffers from alopecia, an auto-immune disease which causes baldness - said that since she starting seeing Jonny Davis, a guitarist for the Holloways, she noticed a difference in her naked scalp.
"Within a couple of months of us being together, hair patches started getting thicker and four months ago I was able to style it," she explained, noting that her young daughter Honey thinks she now looks like a "pixie" with her new coiffure.
However, Porter was quick to add that Honey had also liked her bald head, thinking that it was a cool look.
The blonde has become an unofficial spokesperson for alopecia sufferers after having lost her hair five years ago.
Her work with various charities, such as the Little Princess Foundation, has led to her receiving a nomination for Bighearted Entertainer of the Year from News of the World readers.
