Those affected by hair loss 'may have a choice to make in summer'

Published: 7th of July 2010
Those affected by hair loss `may have a choice to make in summer` While there are many potentially effective treatments out there for those suffering with hair loss, as the temperatures rise attention might turn to protecting the scalp from sunburn.

According to Rita Sirigano, writing for the Calgary Herald, purchasing the right hat can be an essential device for avoiding harmful UV rays.

Although the choice is up to the individual, men might find it more difficult to select headwear in which they feel stylish and confident.

Pointing out that Indiana Jones-style boaters can be classic choices, Ms Sirigano admitted that it takes a certain kind of attitude to pull off.

However, the traditional baseball cap could be a good choice and would allow the sufferer of male hair loss to show some personality with a logo depicting his favourite sports team or location.

Women, on the other hand, may have slightly more choice, with plenty of fashionable designer berets and pillbow hats in shops, as well as the option of using a bright silky headscarf.
