Hair loss 'can be scary'

Losing hair can be a traumatic experience, it has been noted.According to a Daily News blog, shedding tresses can be scary for both men and women.
It stated: "M??t women believe th?t th?? ?r? n?t supposed t? lose th??r precious locks."
The news source went on to note that females may be more at risk of thinning locks during their menopausal years when their hormone levels change.
However, it is not uncommon to see women in their 30s suffering from hair loss, it added.
Those who find themselves in this position may want to have their hormone levels checked, as well as their thyroids, it went on to advise.
Meanwhile, for some individuals balding is genetic, the blog post noted.
One celebrity to have been pictured showing signs of hair loss recently was supermodel Naomi Campbell.
On a photo shoot in New York, the glamorous Brit was shown to have a receding hair line and it is believed that years of styling may be the cause.
