Hair loss resulted in loss of confidence, model reveals

A model who suffered from hair loss as a teenager has noted that her confidence fell as a result.Danielle Lineker, who married former footballer and Match Of The Day presenter Gary Lineker last year, revealed she shed her tresses while she was doing exams, the Scottish Daily Record reports.
The 30-year-old remarked: "I lost most of the hair on top of my head for about seven months when I was 16. It was stress-related and it suddenly fell out while I was doing my GCSEs."
She stated that she had a bald patch on top of her head and had to resort to a comb over, colouring in any visible gaps with eyeliner.
Danielle added that the episode occurred during a vulnerable time when she was starting to like boys and felt very self-conscious.
She added that it knocked her self-esteem and she still occasionally gets small patches of hair loss.
Another celebrity to have experienced such problems is Gail Porter, whose tresses recently reappeared after five years of alopecia.
