Published: 18th of May 2010
One of the things that concerns men most about their appearances is the risk of hair loss. This is according to a poll conducted for chat show MyFaceMyBody, which revealed that developing bald patches is a worry for four fifths of males.
In addition, more than one in four (27 per cent) would consider having some sort of cosmetic surgery, it was found.
Ex-Gladiator Warren Furman - who played Ace in the show - was interviewed for the programme.
He said: "Initially I wasn't that bothered about my hair, but I was only 35 when I looked in the mirror and saw Phil Collins staring back at me."
At this age, he had a hair transplant in order to restore his tresses.
Furman claims that when he lost his locks, his head appeared too big and he looked like an "escaped convict".
Another celebrity to have hair concerns is footballer Ryan Giggs. Allegedly, the Manchester United player has been having treatment to thicken his tresses.
