Published: 12th of May 2010
When people eat badly, they may be putting themselves at a greater risk of suffering from hair loss, it has been noted.Writing on Natural News.com, Fleur Hupston said that consuming healthy food is one way of making tresses stronger.
She cited a number of things that should be on shoppers' lists, including alfalfa sprouts, which are said to be rich in a vitamins, as well as zinc, copper and magnesium.
In addition, leafy green vegetables such as spinach should be eaten regularly as they enhance the condition of locks and help to promote their growth, she said.
It is also known that protein is helpful in strengthening tresses.
Meanwhile, Ms Hupston went on to point out that as well as diet, there are other factors that can contribute to hair loss risks.
For example, stress and chronic disorders can increase the possibility of baldness, she noted, as can toxic hair care products.
