Boy aims to help hair loss sufferers

A youngster in the US has been showing his altruistic side by doing his bit to help hair loss sufferers.Trebor Brzezicki has been growing his stresses for more than a year so he can donate them to a charity, Framingham TAB reports.
The seven-year-old is giving ten to 12 inches of blond tresses to of Love, which specialises in aiding individuals who have lost their hair for a variety of reasons.
Among those it assists are people with alopecia.
According to the NHS, there is a genetic tendency to develop alopecia areata and one in four or five people with the problem have a family member who is also affected.
Sufferers can experience significant drops in their levels of confidence and self-esteem.
High-profile individuals to have had the condition include Gail Porter and Matt Lucas.
While Gail is now recovering from hers, Lucas is still known for his hairless appearance.
