Can protein help minimise hair loss risk?

Protein may be able to help people minimise their risk of suffering from hair loss.Writing on Herald.ie, Simone Kenn noted that getting sufficient levels of the substance is crucial for individual's health in general.
He pointed out that it is an "important nutrient" that bodies use in a variety of ways, adding that we use it for growth and cell maintenance and repair.
Mr Kenn added: "It is also important for our metabolism, digestion and blood oxygenation and keeps our bones, skin, hair and nails healthy and strong."
He went on to give advice concerning foods that protein can be found in.
Among them are meat, fish, eggs and dairy foods, as well as certain vegetables and cereals.
It is also known that getting sufficient nutrition in general is crucial for the health of tresses, with those who engage in crash diets sometimes experiencing a thinning of their locks.
