Reducing stress 'can minimise hair loss risk'
Published: 19th of April 2010
Cutting down on stress levels can help people minimise their risk of suffering from hair loss. This is according to an article in Natural News.com, which suggested that there is a correlation between a frenetic and worrisome existence and tresses falling out.
It stated: "Reverting to a calmer and more natural lifestyle will improve overall health and give hair a chance to recover."
The news source went on to note that stress is a demand upon mental and physical energy, stating that many individuals struggle to cope with the pressures of managing a home, bringing up children, caring for parents and balancing their finances.
Also, one-off events, such as the death of a family member, can result in heightened levels of worry.
When people have too much to deal with, they are at a greater risk of their locks falling out.
It is also known that a medical event, such as the birth of a child or major surgery, can cause individuals' hair to thin.
