Childbirth 'can cause hair loss'

Women can experience hair loss as a result of having children, it has been noted.According to Natural News, it is common to shed tresses around three months after giving birth.
However, new mothers should not be concerned about this as the issue is generally a temporary one, the resource claimed.
In most cases, locks return to pre-pregnancy states within six to 12 months, it suggested.
Another possible cause of hair loss is the menopause, the article went on to state.
It noted that hormonal imbalance is the "most common reason" for thinning tresses among older women.
The news source commented: "Although female hormones may not have as much impact on hair loss as male hormones, it is still a factor when it comes to hair loss in women."
Recently, it claimed that substances such as vitamin E and calcium may help reduce hair fall, as can reducing consumption of alcohol.
