X Factor star shows signs of hair loss

X Factor winner Alexandra Burke was spotted at a London nightclub allegedly showing signs of hair loss, a publication has claimed.According to the Daily Mail, the 22-year-old arrived at Mahiki in Mayfair sporting a new style.
While her soft curls and "long flowing mane" were "on-trend", they revealed the damage that has been done to her natural hairline, it suggested.
The news source remarked: "It seems years of wearing tight hair extensions - or a weave as it's more commonly known - have taken a toll on her own hair."
It went on to note that Alexandra is not the only celebrity to have suffered from hair loss as a result of extensions.
Naomi Campbell, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears have also been pictured with apparent damage to their locks.
It is known that hair extensions can put pressure on follicles and, in some cases, this can result in tresses falling out.
