Poor nutrition 'can lead to health loss'
Published: 4th of March 2010
If people fail to get the sustenance they require in their diets, they may be more likely to experience hair loss. This is according to Zion Health, which suggested that a number of factors can contribute to the ageing process.
As well as poor nutrition, alcohol, medication, stress and smoking may make people suffer negative physical consequences, such as shedding their locks, the firm suggested.
Other effects may be increased wrinkles, bone decay and fatigue, it added.
The company stated: "Aging is a natural process that we should embrace with proper diet, exercise and positive thinking."
One of the requirements of a healthy diet is that it has sufficient levels of protein in it.
Writing on Natural News.com recently, Melanie Grimes suggested that the substance is needed for hair growth and to keep tresses in good condition.
She remarked: "Because the hair is made of protein, a protein deficiency can cause hair loss."
