Sufficient protein 'important for those keen to avoid hair loss'
Published: 23rd of February 2010
Getting sufficient protein as part of a healthy diet is one way in which people can minimise their chances of suffering problems such as hair loss. This is according to an Anca Hubert article in the Epoch Times, which suggested that fruits, vegetables and cereals should also play a part in well-balanced food routines and exercise and recreation are important too.
A number of hair care techniques were also put forward, including one which involved applying honey and lemon juice along with water to the hair and leaving it on for ten minutes.
Meanwhile, castor oil treatment was highlighted as another way in which people can grow and strengthen their locks - potentially reducing their risk of baldness.
Consumers were advised to massage their scalps with the oil every night for five to ten minutes and then shampoo the product out.
Writing on Natural News.com recently, Melanie Grimes suggested that people keen to retain their hair may benefit from taking additional nutrients.
