Woman suffers hair loss after shampooing

A woman has spoken of her experience of hair loss resulting from washing her locks.Sophie Peppercorn used a shampoo and washed her hair as normal but suffered a reaction which caused her to be left with bald patches, the Daily Mail reports.
The 19-year-old administrative assistant said: "As I showered the bubbles from my hair, I could feel a lot of it in my hands."
However, it was not until she got out of the shower and began to dry her hair with a towel that the extent of the damage was revealed.
Her hairline had receded by two inches and the rest was so damaged that it was breaking off in handfuls.
Commenting on the effect it had her, Ms Peppercorn said she was "devastated" and revealed she broke down in tears.
Writing for the Huffington Post recently, beauty expert Louis Licari suggested that many women who suffer from hair loss fail to seek help because they are too embarrassed.
