Olive oil reduces hair loss?

A number of ways in which people try to stop hair loss have been listed in the International Business Times.According to the publication, some individuals may attempt rubbing olive oil into their scalps in a bid to prevent their locks from falling out.
Meanwhile, uncooked egg yolks were also cited as a massage lotion used by individuals seeking to strengthen their follicles.
The publication went on to note that castor oil is sometimes applied to the roots of people's hair and to their scalps and left overnight wrapped in newspaper. The substance is washed out the following morning and the process repeated for seven to ten days.
Those keen to try something a little more exotic also may attempt to massage coconut milk into their roots and rinse it off after some time.
While none of these techniques are proven to work, eating a well-balanced diet rich in substances such as protein is known to reduce the risk of hair loss.
