Hair loss among celebrity males 'will remain a talking point'
Published: 11th of February 2010
Male celebrities who lose their locks often become the subject of intense media attention because of it.According to a Boosh Plr article, this will remain the case for the foreseeable future.
It stated: "One thing is for certain, men are going to continue to lose hair and if they have any sort of public profile, their hair loss will certainly be photographed and commented on."
The publication made its remarks after second-in-line-to-the-throne Prince William's recent tour of Australia.
During his trip, he attracted considerable attention for his increasing bald spot, with newspaper headlines such as "Balding Royals" and radio chat show discussions focusing on the issue.
Boosh Plr went on to point out that many celebrities and sports people have spoken about their efforts to avoid hair loss, with cricketer Shane Warne among them.
Another star to suffer from hair loss is Gail Porter, although her alopecia seems to have been getting better over recent weeks.
