Hair loss 'can be tackled in a number of ways'
Published: 18th of November 2009
There are a number of ways that men can reduce the risk of hair loss, it has been claimed.

According to an article published by author Stewart C on Best Syndication, cutting stress levels is an important part of limiting hair loss, as there is a strong link between this and damage to hair.

Carrying out regular exercise was also advised due to the fact that this can help improve the health of a scalp and also maintain a "healthy level of testosterone".

In addition, men worrying about nearing hair loss treatment were urged to follow a "proper and balanced diet" that ensures they are getting the nutrients and protein they need.

This, it was stated, helps to give the skin and scalp nourishment that can prevent hair from falling out or thinning.

The needs for regular protein intake was recently highlighted by dietician Lisa Gibson, who told the Los Angeles Times that one woman struggling to find the time to eat regularly should focus on foods containing lean protein.
